ON THE SUBJECT OF THE HAZARDS OF USING BOOKS:
Personally, I blame the mad hatters in Hollywood for making such films as Die Hard—which contains the famous deleted scene where John McClane defeats a roomful of terrorists only armed with a copy of Stephen Hawking's time-traveling sci-fi classic A Brief History of Time. Such media is a horrible influence on humanity and should be avoided at all costs—that is, of course, unless I am featured in any of these films, television shows, or edutainment oriented film strips. When we can't trust what we see on film or television, what's next to lead us astray? Video games? I certainly hope that I will never be wronged by hopping on turtles and eating magic mushrooms while crawling through sewer pipes.
